MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin popular music scene is being influenced by his international reach. In 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The singer released his first long-player ADN with the Sony-owned company based in Medellin, La Industria Inc. It reached number 8 at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. The following year, he teamed up with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca that was a Top Five hit. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel for Mala Influencia and released the album Dopamina within the year following. Then in 2021, he sang in a duet with TINI's stream hit track Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo's brother and mother were musicians at the time Turizo was born. According to him, music was an integral element of his existence. At the age of a young child, he started learning to play the ukulele, saxophone and piano. While his initial goal was to be a vet, his brother Julian got him to attend singing lessons from the famous Cuban.
